Morgan Clayton
From the age of twelve or so Morgan started a practice of writing every so often in a book. She found that writing out her thoughts gave her an outlet to explore how she was feeling. Plus, seeing as how the paper didn’t speak back, she was encouraged to share without concern of judgement or rejection.
It wasn’t until years later that Morgan discovered that she was having a conversation though her time of journaling. Her writings were an expression of her heart that were dripped onto the page one word at a time to commune with God.
During a season of life that she affectionally refers to as the Crumble she was led to Southern Methodist University where she received her Certification in Spiritual Direction from Perkins School of Theology. Life hasn’t been the same since.
With a gentle yet keen heart for listening, she enjoys holding space with and for others as they journey to one’s hearts center. During her time with fellow companions their collective attention will focus inward following wherever we are led in heart, mind and body. A judgement free, peace filled time of seeking and wondering with the intention of recognizing and strengthening our relationship with God.
For Morgan, the word “community” transcends the top-of-mind definition, it’s a flexible vital element of her life and work that continues to take on deeper meaning the more she reflects on it. It is her communal responsibility to unearth the truest version of herself and authentically and consistently express that Morgan to the world. to create a personal relationship woven through personal experiences with an of God in ever deepening ways while helping others do the same.
