Offers Faith and Grief Ministries and Spiritual Ministries Institute (SMI) a safe and convenient location for programming as well as leadership development.
In 2022, in partnership with Compassion DFW, Retreat House trained 12 individuals to receive Compassion Integrity Training (CIT) creating a boundless ripple of compassion and integrity in our world.
Collaborates closely with Perkins School of Theology (SMU) Certificate in Spiritual Direction (CSD) program to extend space to students at no charge.
Since 2020, Retreat House has curated and shared 442 sacred stories, meditations, essays and reflections through our blog.
Enhanced social media presence where almost 1k followers benefit from prayers, live and written meditations and other meaningful content. We reach a somewhat different audience with similar content through our e-mail distribution list which has grown to more than 700.
Provides complimentary soup lunch every Wednesday accompanied by prayer and meditation serving more than 500 bowls of soup annually.
Hosts a menu of regular offerings like but not limited to soul painting, silent retreats, music meditations, dreams groups, interfaith gatherings, book studies and more. These serve as a time to connect with God, self and others where approximately 1,500 are served annually.
Collaborates with partners to offer specialized retreats and other gatherings throughout the year including but not limited to New Year retreat, cooking/baking and spirituality classes, Jungian and Archetype classes and more serving around 150 pilgrims annually.
Produced 16 volumes in our House of books series offering 60 contributing authors a place to share and publish 362 unique stories.
Holds pace for 25 spiritual directors estimating each director meets with approximately 10 directees totaling 220 individuals served monthly and approximately 3,000 individuals served through direction annually.
Provides infrastructure and support for 8 supervision groups with approximately 5 spiritual directors in each group who serve an average of 10 directees each. Total impact equally 400 people.
Since 2021, St. Phillip Presbyterian Church generously co-sponsored retreats for frontline healthcare workers as well as ministry leaders. They also provided funds for a permanent memorial healing arch at Retreat House. 100 ribbons tied to the arch, countless prayers said, and more than 100 individuals served through retreats.
