The Awakening

Bleary-eyed

Disoriented

Breathless

I attempt to stand

A mount of transfiguration

beneath my feet
Light so bright

Only shadows are seen
Deafening silence

An occasional perfumed wind,

and You are here

Your presence felt
“What is next?”

I cry blindly from the mount.

Follow Me.

Your voice echoes from the heavens....
But there are no steps

Only waiting...Soaking.....Breathing....Partaking.....

My sight slowly restored, You gently entreat,
“Simply follow Me

as I AM,

and BE.”
