We all have an authentic Self - we were born with it. Things happen in our lives where we pick up burdens and beliefs, which trigger various parts inside us. The intentions of critical, avoidant, numbing, or drill sergeant parts are to help us deal with the hard things that happened. We wouldn’t want these parts to run our lives - and yet they often do. They get in the driver’s seat when what we really want is for our authentic Self to be in the driver’s seat.
In the Finding YourSelf series, we’ll explore the therapeutic model, Internal Family Systems, which guides us into befriending our parts, helping them soften so they don’t have to “drive the bus” anymore.
The “Finding YourSelf” series is open to adults who are either beginners to IFS or those who have knowledge and experience and would enjoy learning in an online community setting.
Cost is $75 for the 5-session series and includes a private 75-minute PartsWork session with Tracy.
