Christy's passion is journeying with others. She defines herself as a contemplative, a travel junkie, and a lover of all people and animals! Her life’s work has been living in community as a licensed professional counselor, spiritual director, teacher, and mindful travel specialist. She believes spiritual direction creates a safe space with love and acceptance to open, grow, and discern the path of becoming your truest self and living a life on purpose.

Christy is formally trained as a Spiritual Director and clinically trained as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. She has extensive expertise working with individuals and groups and is also a speaker, trainer, and retreat leader in the areas of spirituality, contemplative travel, wellness, mental health, mindfulness, rest & self-care. Her interests include deepening faith and loss of faith, deconstruction and reconstruction, spiritual practices and the contemplative life, post-evangelical life, finding your purpose, and authentic living. She also specializes in the spiritual discipline of contemplative travel and weaves it into her work! 

Christy lives in Plano with her husband of over twenty years, her two almost-grown boys, and her two jack russell pups. She loves spending time with family and community, traveling the world, and savoring every moment on this beautiful earth.
