Ep 18: Noticing the Seasons of Retreat House, with Rev. Sherry Ward

Retreat House celebrates her seventh birthday this October. Together, we notice  that the number 7 represents wholeness and completeness in Scripture.  We celebrate all that the Holy has done and is doing in our community.

In this episode we connect with Rev. Sherry Ward. Sherry is a spiritual director, retreat leader, retired pastor and former board member of our community.  Somewhere along the way, she earned the name loving kindness cultivator at Retreat House.  Her warm presence can be felt whenever she is at Retreat House – in the kitchen making soup or offering a prayer online or at the house during our hours of prayers. Sherry has been part of the Retreat House community from the inception. It was a delight to visit with her as she reflected on the seasons of our community and the hope she holds as the community goes into year 8.
