Hope and New Day

By Verlene Springer

I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wildernessu and rivers in the desert

Isaiah 43:19

Looking back, we can see how God has moved about through the many twists and turns of life. In times that were pleasing and welcomed but also through times of seemingly unbearable pain. He was there when we were hurt, sad, or angry. He was even there through terror or rage. He was there even when we didn’t care about ourselves or Him.

He is always there, listening and compassionate. He understands it all - every feeling and every thought, the spoken and the silent. His child, uniquely created with His own hands. The space fills with light and love, the spirit grows quiet. Softly, a whisper comes from the still small voice brining the hope of a new day. God’s promise, our hope.
