Resolutely, I break from the chains
that have been placed upon me.
"Never again!", I cry.
I walk forward
in courage and strength,
drawn to freedom
until my last dying breath.
Let me breath again
and again
and again,
And with each breath,
My spirit expands
My heart fills
My mind quiets
My soul rests
And I breathe again,
and again,
and again
And one day,
there will be
no cry for freedom,
For that will be my name.
